Distance and Blended Learning

The Distance and Blended Learning Group is formed to promote a discussion of the issues, challenges, and opportunities available to promote excellent teaching and successful learning in an online environment. Based on a rich tradition of liberal learning and recent history of technological innovation, the University of Mary Washington is in a unique position to serve the higher education needs of the regional community and beyond. A thoughful faculty, supportive administration, and diverse student population provide the right  formula for academic success in coursework delivered over a geographic or temporal displacement.
